What is a RoofBuzz rating?

RoofBuzz Rating is a unique tool designed to help facility managers find, evaluate, and choose the best roofing professional for their roofing needs. It is driven by the strength of the roofing professional’s company, capabilities, services, and member satisfaction. A company can have great reviews, but lack the financial stability to stay in business or handle a variety of services after the roofing project is complete. The RoofBuzz Rating is the best way to help you make the right choice!

What is a RoofBuzz review rating?

The RoofBuzz Review Rating is a rating tool based on the average of a collection of reviews from facility managers. Facility managers can get real-world input from other professionals, and share feedback on working with a particular roofing contractor or consultant.

How do roofing contractor and consultants receive a RoofBuzz rating?

There are two ways that a RoofBuzz rating is determined. If a member request that a roofing contractor or consultant be added to the list, RoofBuzz will pull that companies D&B, secretary of state listing, OSHA history, past legal issues and any other information that can be found about that company. This information is un-verifiable to some extent. RoofBuzz will rate that company against its competitors and issue a rating. This rating will be low, due to the lack of verification that can be obtained. The second way a RoofBuzz Rating is given is when a roofing contractor or consultant becomes a member of RoofBuzz. The roofing contractor and consultant will supply current insurance, contractor qualification statements, financial information, bonding capacity, services that they provide in addition to a list of items needed. All of this information is verified and most of it is made available for the members to download. The roofing contractor or consultant will be given a RoofBuzz rating based on how they stack up against their competitors. It is essential that all members require their roofing contractor to become members. It is difficult to compare members that have provided documentation against nonmember’s unverified information.

Why would I use RoofBuzz when I can just ask other professionals I know for recommendations?

Naturally, you’ll ask others in your profession to recommend a company. RoofBuzz can give you unbiased experience with hundreds of companies—something your colleagues can't.

In addition, RoofBuzz gives you the facts about each roofing contractor. Just because a roofing contractor was successful on a colleagues’ project doesn’t necessarily mean they are qualified to handle your project.

Does RoofBuzz allow roofing contractors or consultants to advertise?

RoofBuzz does allow companies that are members to post their services on their profile page, if they have proven that they can provide the services as advertised. Only roofing contractors and consultants with an above average review rating is offered this privilege. Anytime their rating falls below average, the offer is revoked.

Can a roofing contractor or consultant pay to change their rank on RoofBuzz?

No! RoofBuzz was designed to give you the facts about each contractor or consultant.
